The Office of Foreign Labor Certification’s Response to AILA’s Concerns over Increased PWD Processing Times

Excessive processing times for prevailing wage determinations remain a lingering problem for many American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) members. At a recent conference, Department of Labor’s (DOL) Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC) shared details as to why some prevailing wage determinations remain outside normal processing times. OFLC also discussed the impact of mandamus filings and congressional inquiries.
