Anticipated Immigration Shifts Under Trump’s Presidency

Following the recent election, Donald Trump has emerged as President-elect, setting the stage for substantial changes to U.S. immigration policy. His administration is expected to focus heavily on strict enforcement and bolstered border security, with plans for one of the most extensive deportation initiatives in U.S. history, potentially involving National Guard assistance. Proposed policies may also include ending birthright citizenship and implementing rigorous ideological screenings for legal immigrants. Additionally, we anticipate tighter restrictions on work visa programs, including H-1B and other employment-based visas, which could impact businesses and skilled workers alike.
